Dementia comes in many different forms and many conditions are believed to be contributing factors. Dementia can affect communication, thinking, behavior, motor skills and feelings.
Alzheimer’s disease is the most common form of dementia, accounting for 60 to 80% of dementia diagnoses, but it is not the only form of dementia.
